New Delhi: The third round of India-Belgium Ministry of Foreign Affairs consultations was held on November 4, 2025 in Brussels, co-chaired by Sibi George, Secretary (West) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, and Theodora Gentzis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Public Service of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting closely followed the successful visit of HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, who led an economic delegation to India in March 2025. The communiqué noted that regular high-level political visits and interactions, including those of the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister to India and the Indian Foreign Minister to Belgium, have provided guidance and new impetus to bilateral relations.
