The main negotiators of the two parties hold the 13th cycle of negotiations for the proposed free trade agreement.
The EU Maros Sefcovic Commerce Commissioner and the EU agriculture commissioner Christophe Hansen is likely to visit India this week.
The two parties work very actively to converge on different parts of the agreement, goyal told journalists here.
Almost 60 to 65% of the chapters are now completed and finalized, he said.
“As my counterparts Maros Sefcovic, the EU trade commissioner and the EU agriculture commissioner, Christophe come to India, I think we will be ready to try to conclude the agreement considerably,” he said.
