The European Commission and the High Representative have adopted joint communication describing a “new EU-Indian strategic program”, marking an important step in EU-India.
This initiative, announced by President Ursula von der Leyen in its political guidelines for 2024-2029, aims to deepen, expand and better coordinate bilateral cooperation, improve the prosperity and security of the two partners and meet the main global challenges.
“It is now time to focus on reliable partners and double the partnerships anchored in shared interests and guided by common values. With our new EU-India strategy, we put our relationship to the next level. Trade, investment and mobility of talents.
