New Delhi: India and the European Union said on Friday that they were working intensely to finalize the trade agreement by the end of the year, the Minister of Trade and Industry Piyush Goyal suggesting that certain strategic elements could be part of the global agreement in the coming months.“We have been negotiating this for some time, but I can tell you that it has never had such an impulse that we have made it right now, between Minister Goyal and myself, and of course, with solid political support from the two leaders, Prime Minister Modi and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen … We are now maximizing our efforts to the finalization of negotiations at the end of the year.” ACMA annual meeting said.
