President Trump hit India with a 25% additional Price due to the purchase by India from Russian oil. The American president threatened India with higher prices earlier this week, to whom Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was “unjustified” and also called the United States to his double standard on Russia.
In an interview with CNBC on Tuesday, Trump said India helped feed the war machine.
“They feed the war machine. And if they are going to do it, then I will not be happy,” said Trump.
At the start of commercial negotiations, relations between the United States and India seemed more friendly with the two parties saying that they will conclude an agreement in a few days. However, in recent months, things seem to have been embedded because none of the parties can agree on some of the finest details of the agreement, which concern dairy and agricultural products.
Consequently, a trade war seems to have developed between the two parties and now with this price gift of 25% of Trump to Modi, the two seem far from reaching an agreement that ever.
