
The Minister of External Affairs (EAM) S Jaishankar, during his visit to the Netherlands, had discussions with strategic experts in The Hague, focusing on the need to deepen the Indian relations of the Dutch and India at a time defined by several polarities and strategic autonomy.
Sharing an article on X, Jaishankar wrote: “A good exchange of points of view with strategic experts in The Hague this morning.
Eam Jaishankar arrived in the Netherlands on Monday to have discussions with the management of the country.
According to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), EAM Jaishankar is on an official visit to the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany from May 19 to 24.
During the visit, the EAM will meet the management of the three countries and will organize discussions on the entire range of bilateral relations.
Discussions will also take place on global and regional questions of mutual interest.
Eam Jaishankar’s visit to Germany intervened after Friedrich Merz took over the office as a new Federal Chancellor in Germany earlier this month.

The current development of renewed relations in India-Denmark was guided by the “Green Strategic Partnership”, said the MEA.
Diplomatic ties between India and the Netherlands are over 75 years old. According to the MEA, the two countries enjoy solid political, economic and commercial relations. High -level mutual exchanges have given impetus to the multifaceted partnership between the two countries.
