

Brussels – Focus on the improvement of European Union links in India, Ambassador of India to the EU, Saurabh Kumar met on Wednesday Angelika Niebler, member of the European Parliament (MEP) and president of the delegation for relations with India, following her visit to India for the Dialogue Raisina.
During their meeting, they discussed the possibilities of strengthening parliamentary cooperation through high -level interactions after the visit of India last month of the European Commission. They exchanged points of view on the latest political developments in Europe and around the world.

The leaders have agreed that shared values and principles, in particular democracy, the rule of law and international order based on the rules, in accordance with the objectives and principles of the United Nations Charter, India and EU partners with similar and reliable views.
They also underlined the importance of intensifying cooperation between India and Europe in the trade and disintegration of supply chains, investment, emerging critical technologies, innovation, talents, digital and green industrial transitional sectors, space and geospatial contacts, defense and contacts of people.
