Goyal described the general principles to build a mutually beneficial partnership between India and the European Union .
India aims to strengthen its partnership with the European Union (EU) on the basis of the shared values of democracy, the rule of law and an independent judicial system, promoting an economic relationship which integrates their combined market as 24 dollars, added the release.
It seeks to establish a commercially significant and fair trade program, to tackle the tariff and non -tariff obstacles for companies, in particular small and medium -sized enterprises (SMEs), farmers and fishermen. By aligning the “zero defect, zero effect” vision, India will collaborate with the EU to harmonize standards and exchange best practices.
In addition, the two partners will work on the development of advanced technologies, the securing of critical raw material supplies channels and the reduction of dependencies on non -commercial economies. Cooperation will extend to trade and sustainable development, respecting different levels of progress and shared responsibilities. As a nation focused on technology with a young and qualified workforce, India aspires to become a bridge for mutual growth and development with the EU.
